Farm worker kills employer in Amreli

In a shocking incident highlighting the growing obsession with mobile phones and social media, a farm worker allegedly murdered his employer in Gujarat’s Amreli district after being reprimanded for making a reel during work hours.
The incident took place in the Barwala Bavishi village of Vadiataluka. According to reports, the accused, Ravi Karoliya, had been working as a farm labourer for the past three years in the farm owned by KaranbhaiVala.
On the day of the incident, Ravi was reportedly making a social media reel while seat on a tractor instead of attending to his work. When Karanbhai objected him for neglecting his duties, the labourer became enraged. In a fit of anger, Ravi allegedly attacked Karanbhai using a stone and a pipe, inflicting fatal injuries.
