Ex-CPWD ADG MCT Pareva back as IITARB president; Dubey elected treasurer

Former Additional Director General of the Central Public Works Department, MCT Pareva, was unanimously re-elected as President of the Indian Institute of Technical Arbitrators (IITARB). Neeraj Rajvanshi also elected Secretary and GS Dubey, former Executive Director of the Steel Authority of India, was elected Treasurer.
The election for the executive committee of the Indian Institute of Technical Arbitrators (IITARB) was held at the Institution of Engineers-India (Institution of Engineers-India) in the capital. The election process lasted for nearly a month and concluded with a unanimous election at the annual meeting.
The Indian Institute of Technical Arbitrators has been working to provide a quick and cost-effective legal framework for arbitration to resolve contract disputes between engineers and architects. Explaining this, Parewa stated that this is a capable platform for logical and legal resolution of disputes on Government projects worth thousands of crores of rupees in the country. Our goal is to develop the country by resolving disputes that account for approximately 17 percent of the country’s GDP.
He said that an international conference is planned for 2026, inviting mediation experts from the Government and private sectors.
