ED raids 7 locations in Chhattisgarh PSC money laundering probe

The Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday conducted searches at seven locations in Chhattisgarh as part of a money laundering investigation into alleged irregularities in the state Public Service Commission, officials said.
The searches were carried out under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), they said.
The premises searched include those linked to K K Chandrakar, who served as a personal assistant to former Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel, according to officials.
The probe relates to alleged irregularities in the functioning of the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC).
ED teams were conducting searches at multiple locations as part of the investigation. Further details about the searches and the findings of the agency were awaited. (with inputs from PTI)
