External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met South African Deputy President Paul Mashatile in New Delhi on Tuesday, holding wide-ranging discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
According to Dr. Jaishankar’s social media post, the two leaders discussed opportunities in key sectors including trade, investment, MSMEs, digital technology, and infrastructure development. He also appreciated South Africa’s commitment to deepening its longstanding partnership with India.
Both sides further agreed on the importance of closer coordination in multilateral and international forums, reflecting their shared priorities on global economic and strategic issues.
