Dr Kartik Sahni selected as Assistant Professor in GI surgery department

Dr Kartik Sahni has been selected for the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Gastrointestinal (GI) Surgery at the Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital under the Delhi Government. According to the official results released by the institution, he secured the top position in the selection process conducted for this post.
Dr Sahni is a resident of Singh Sabha Road in Shakti Nagar, North Delhi. He completed his initial medical education from Maulana Azad Medical College. He obtained his MBBS degree in 2018 from the University of Delhi and later completed his MS in General Surgery from the same university in 2021. He further pursued super-speciality training at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where he earned his MCh (Surgical Gastroenterology) degree in 2025. Dr Sahni’s father, Inder Raj Sahni, expressed that this achievement is a matter of great pride for the family and a result of years of hard work. His mother, Seema Sahni, added that his interest in studies and the medical field was evident since childhood, which he consistently nurtured through dedication and perseverance.
