Donald Trump says Iran's denuclearization is 'moving along well' amid ongoing talks

US President Donald Trump has expressed optimism over ongoing diplomatic efforts with Iran, saying that the country's denuclearization process is "moving along well."
Speaking to reporters before departing Washington, Trump said recent meetings involving US and Iranian representatives had been productive and indicated that both sides were making progress through indirect negotiations in Doha, Qatar.
The latest round of talks focused primarily on easing regional tensions, ensuring safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, and maintaining a ceasefire following recent hostilities.
While Trump praised the discussions, officials acknowledged that no major breakthrough had been achieved and that key issues, including Iran's nuclear programme, still require further negotiations.
Trump said the United States and Iran were "getting along very well" and expressed hope that continued diplomatic engagement would lead to lasting peace and stability in the region.
The negotiations are being mediated by Qatar, with both sides expected to continue discussions in the coming weeks as efforts to reduce tensions and resolve long-standing disputes continue.
