Dipke urges BJP to heed Bhagwat’s remarks on Gen Z protesters

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) convener Abhijeet Dipke on Friday, AUg 7th urged the BJP to heed RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's remarks backing Gen Z protesters, claiming the ruling party was out of sync with its ideological mentor.

Dipke's comments came a day after Bhagwat said the grievances of young protesters were genuine and that participating in protests did not make them "anti-national".

Addressing reporters, Dipke said the BJP should align itself with Bhagwat's position, referring to the RSS chief as the party's "mentor" and "godfather".

"The most important statement of Mohan Bhagwat was that the protesting youth should not be called anti-national and their issues are genuine," Dipke said.

He alleged that BJP leaders had earlier labelled the CJP a "virus" and accused its members of being the "B-team of terrorists", adding that the party should now follow Bhagwat's advice.

Dipke also claimed there was a lack of coordination between the BJP and the RSS, saying it was "worrying" if the ruling party was ignoring its ideological mentor's views.

He further demanded an investigation into social media videos linked to the CJP's Jantar Mantar protests, alleging that misleading clips had been circulated.

The CJP leader also said party teams had been sent to Jharkhand to support aspirants protesting alleged recruitment exam irregularities, warning that local protests could grow into a nationwide movement if grievances remained unaddressed.
