Delhi Court allows NEET UG Paper leak accused Yash Yadav to appear in Re-Exam on June 21

The Delhi court has allowed NEET UG 2026 paper leak accused Yash Yadav to appear for the upcoming re-examination scheduled on June 21, even as his interim bail plea remains under consideration.
The order came after the court took up his application seeking temporary release from custody to participate in the national-level medical entrance re-exam. The court has also sought a response from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) before taking a final decision on his bail request.
Yash Yadav, who is one of the accused in the alleged NEET UG paper leak case, had moved the court seeking 15 days of interim bail. He requested the relief not only to appear for the examination but also to attend a personal family function.
The case is part of the broader NEET UG 2026 paper leak investigation, which led to the cancellation of the original examination and the announcement of a re-test scheduled for June 21 under strict security arrangements.
Earlier proceedings in the case show that the accused had also been permitted by the court to access study materials while in judicial custody to prepare for the re-exam.
The NEET UG re-examination is being conducted nationwide amid heightened security measures following concerns over exam integrity and alleged malpractice in the original test cycle.
The matter will be taken up again once the CBI submits its reply, after which the court is expected to decide on the interim bail plea.
