Delhi BJP leaders felicitates Nitin Nabin as National Working President

The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday felicitated Nitin Nabin after his appointment as the party’s National Working President, with senior leaders describing the move as a boost to organisational strength and youth engagement.
The event saw a large turnout of party workers and office-bearers, reflecting what leaders called widespread enthusiasm within the BJP ranks.
Nabin was received at the Delhi airport by Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, in the presence of BJP national general secretary Vinod Tawde. The leaders welcomed him with bouquets and a party stole before escorting him to the BJP’s national headquarters for a formal felicitation.
At the party office, thousands of BJP workers and office-bearers from districts across Delhi gathered under the leadership of Sachdeva to congratulate Nabin on his elevation.
The event turned into a show of strength for the party’s organisational wing, with leaders stressing continuity and worker-centric leadership.
Sachdeva said the appointment of Nabin had brought happiness across all levels of the party. “There is joy throughout the organisation, but unprecedented enthusiasm is visible among the youth,” he said. He added that the BJP had once again demonstrated its commitment to promoting grassroots workers to the highest organisational positions.
According to Sachdeva, Nabin’s rise within the party sends a strong message to young workers that dedication and organisational discipline are recognised and rewarded.
He said the new National Working President would play a key role in strengthening the BJPs connect with what he termed “Generation Next”.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also congratulated Nabin and said his appointment would help further energise the party cadre. Party leaders present at the event underlined that the BJP’s internal structure allows ordinary workers to rise through the ranks, distinguishing it from other political parties.
Senior BJP functionaries said Nabin’s organisational experience and outreach among younger workers would be crucial as the party prepares for upcoming political challenges.
They added that the emphasis on youth leadership reflects the BJP’s long-term strategy to remain connected with emerging social and political aspirations.
Nitin Nabin, who has held several organisational responsibilities in the past, thanked party workers for their support and expressed gratitude to the leadership for the trust placed in him.
He said he would work to strengthen the party organisation across states and ensure better coordination between the leadership and grassroots workers.
