CM Yogi Adityanath unveils mega development projects after offering prayers at Lodheshwar Mahadev Temple

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the historic Lodheshwar Mahadev Temple in Barabanki on Monday, where he offered prayers before unveiling a series of major development projects aimed at boosting infrastructure, tourism, and the local economy.
The visit also marked the foundation stone laying for the Mahadeva Corridor, a project designed to enhance facilities for devotees and transform the temple into a prominent religious tourism destination.
Addressing a public gathering, the Chief Minister said the state government is committed to preserving Uttar Pradesh's religious heritage while accelerating economic development through improved connectivity and modern infrastructure. He highlighted that the projects would strengthen pilgrimage tourism, generate employment opportunities, and support businesses in the region.
Officials said the Mahadeva Corridor will include upgraded roads, better public amenities, improved visitor facilities, and beautification of the temple surroundings. The initiative is expected to attract more pilgrims throughout the year and contribute to the overall development of Barabanki district. The government views the project as part of its broader strategy to promote spiritual tourism alongside regional growth across Uttar Pradesh.
