CM Rekha mourns death of minor in Shalimar Bagh

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has expressed deep grief over the death of a minor, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar, Haiderpur, in a road accident that took place on Saturday evening in the Shalimar Bagh area.

According to Shalimar Bagh Police, on Saturday evening, two minors riding a motorcycle were passing through the area where illegal encroachments have been made along the drain and the roadside.

The Chief Minister said that if there had been no illegal encroachments along the roadside in this area, traffic would have moved smoothly, and the chances of such accidents and loss of life and property would have been reduced.

About two months ago, a five-year-old girl also lost her life after being hit by a speeding dumper in the same area.
