She said the initiative was not merely about opening new health centres but a significant step towards ensuring that every resident of the capital has access to quality, affordable and dignified healthcare. MLA from Tri Nagar Shri Tilak Ram Gupta, along with public representatives, officials of the Health Department, doctors, nursing staff and a large number of local residents, attended the programme.
The Chief Minister said that with the inauguration of these new centres, more than 415 Ayushman Jan Arogya Mandirs are now providing quality and accessible primary healthcare services close to people’s homes across Delhi. She expressed confidence that the Delhi Government would soon achieve its target of establishing more than 1,100 Ayushman Jan Arogya Mandirs. She said the Government’s aim is not only to treat illnesses but also to encourage people to adopt a healthier lifestyle. She urged citizens to undergo regular health check-ups, maintain a balanced lifestyle and make yoga and exercise a part of their daily routine.

The projects include the reconstruction of five roads and a drain in the Netaji Subhash Place area. The beautification of Samrat Enclave Market was also launched. The objective, she said, is to build a system where every citizen has timely access to healthcare, better roads and modern public facilities, enabling Delhi to move forward as a healthier, more prosperous and developed capital.
