Two killed, three seriously injured as car hits tree in Madhya Pradesh
Two people were killed and three others seriously injured after a speeding car rammed into a roadside tree in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur district, a police officer said on Friday.
The accident occurred on Thursday evening along the Sagar-Kanpur National Highway near Khairon village.

The driver lost control of the vehicle while attempting to avoid an oncoming truck, causing the car to crash into a roadside tree. All five occupants sustained injuries, he said.
Two of the injured, identified as Pyare Khan (65) and Sharif Khan (45), died during treatment, police said.
The remaining three are undergoing treatment, the officer said, adding that a case had been registered and an investigation was underway. (with inputs from PTI)
