Central Warehousing Corporation posts 30.23% jump in net profit in FY26 on highest-ever turnover

State-run Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) has posted a 30.23 per cent rise in its net profit to Rs 694.94 crore for the 2025-26 fiscal, aided by the highest-ever turnover, Managing Director Santosh Sinha said on Friday.
The net profit rose from Rs 533.67 crore in the previous fiscal. CWC, a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, declared a total dividend of Rs 208.48 crore for the 2025-26 fiscal, an official statement said.
“CWC reported its best-ever financial performance in FY 2025-26, achieving its highest-ever turnover of Rs 3,636.24 crore,” Sinha said at CWC’s 64th annual general meeting held here. Total turnover rose 31 per cent to Rs 3,636.24 crore in the 2025-26 fiscal from Rs 2776.88 crore in the preceding financial year.
Sinha said the company’s forward-looking strategies and landmark initiatives have strengthened CWC’s operational capabilities and contributed to robust and record-breaking financial results. CWC Chairman Rabindra Kumar Agarwal Sinha commended the Corporation for achieving unprecedented milestones and highlighted the key initiatives undertaken during the past year that contributed to a strong performance in 2025-26.
Established under the Warehousing Corporations Act, 1962, CWC’s objective is to provide cost-effective, integrated warehousing and logistics services.
It has a network of 986 warehouses with a total storage capacity of 936 lakh square feet, operating 19 container freight stations and inland container depots, 18 bonded warehouses and 25 rail-side warehouses.
