Central Bank hosts mega MSME outreach in Faridabad

In a major push towards boosting the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector and driving financial inclusion, the Central Bank of India organised a nationwide mega MSME outreach programme in Faridabad on Saturday. The event, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of local industrialists and entrepreneurs, culminated in the on-the-spot sanction of credit facilities worth Rs 75 crore.
The high-profile event was attended by Tarsem Singh Zira, Zonal Head (Delhi), and Dr Himanshu Gupta, General Manager (MSME), Central Bank of India.
Addressing the gathering, senior bank officials provided detailed insights into various tailor-made MSME schemes. They highlighted a series of strategic initiatives undertaken by both the Central Government and the bank to empower and promote small-scale industries.
The officials also outlined upcoming financial products designed to accelerate entrepreneurship and streamline credit flow to the sector.
The key highlight of the outreach programme remained the immediate sanctioning of loans amounting to Rs 75 crore, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to fostering regional industrial development.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Rahul Saxena, Regional Head (Gurugram), who expressed gratitude to the industry stakeholders and participants for ensuring the grand success of the initiative.
