CAQM teams inspect 127 Faridabad roads
By Pioneer News Service

The ongoing inspection by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) regarding steps taken to control pollution in NCR found that while a substantial number of road stretches in Faridabad exhibited low or no visible dust, several stretches require focused attention.
The inspection of 127 road stretches maintained by the Municipal Corporation of Faridabad (MCF) was carried out on Tuesday, the CAQM said on Wednesday.
The drive was undertaken under ‘Operation Clean Air’ with the objective of evaluating on-ground implementation of road-cleaning and sweeping operations and identifying locations prone to visible dust, Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) accumulation and related issues.
