Lens reaches French Cup final
Florian Thauvin scored from the penalty spot and provided an assist as Lens kept its domestic double hopes alive by beating Toulouse 4-1 on Tuesday to reach the French Cup final.
Thauvin put Lens ahead in the ninth minute with a well-taken penalty without a run-up and soon after set up Allan Saint-Maximin.
Santiago Hidalgo scored for Toulouse in the 21st minute before defender Matthieu Udol restored the two-goal lead from close range before the interval.
Adrien Thomasson capped Lens’ win in the 74th minute.
Lens will face the winner of Wednesday’s semifinal between Strasbourg and Nice.

Inter comes back from 2 goals down to beat Como and reach Italian Cup final
Inter Milan’s pursuit of a sweep of the Italian league and Cup titles is still alive.
The Serie A leader came back from two goals down for a decisive 3-2 win over Como in the second leg of the Italian Cup semifinals on Tuesday.
Hakan Calhanoglu scored twice and Petar Sucic had the winner in the 89th minute after Martin Baturina and Como captain Lucas Da Cunha scored either side of halftime.
The first leg ended 0-0.
Atalanta hosts Lazio in the other semifinal on Wednesday after a 2-2 draw in the first leg.
The final is scheduled for May 13.
Meanwhile, Inter could clinch the Serie A title as soon as this weekend.

SAFF Women’s Championship: India Grouped with Bangladesh, Maldives
The Indian women’s football team has been drawn alongside Bangladesh and the Maldives in Group B of the SAFF Women’s Championship to be held in Margao, Goa, from May 25 to June 6.
Group A features Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, according to the draw conducted at the SAFF Secretariat in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Pakistan has decided not to send its team.
This will be the second time India is hosting the SAFF Women’s Championship, after the 2016 edition in Siliguri, West Bengal, where India won their fourth title.
It will also be the second time that Goa will stage a SAFF tournament. The men’s championship of 1999 was also held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, where India won the title, defeating Bangladesh in the final.
