Book launched on women’s role in RSS

A book highlighting the role of women in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was launched in Delhi on Wednesday, with speakers underlining the need for greater participation of women in public life and national development.
Titled “Shatayu Sangh aur Mahila Sahabhagita,” the book authored by Shobha Vijender was released at the NDMC Convention Centre in the presence of senior leaders, legislators, and scholars. Addressing the gathering, the All India Prachar Pramukh (RSS), Sunil Ambekar, said that student leadership developed in universities must ultimately serve the nation. He expressed confidence that women will increasingly take on leadership roles in Parliament and state legislatures in the coming years. He also stressed the importance of intellectual engagement on social, economic, and educational issues.
Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta, also present at the event, said the strength of the nation lies in the equal participation of women. He noted that the book serves as a reminder of the contribution of women in shaping society and national progress.
Gupta also highlighted the symbolic timing of the launch ahead of Navratri, a festival that celebrates the idea of women’s power. He said the ideological framework of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has consistently recognised women as key contributors to the nation’s social and cultural fabric.
