Australia Deputy PM Richard Marles recieves Guard of Honour in Delhi

Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Richard Marles visited New Delhi, where he was formally welcomed by India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at the Manekshaw Centre.
The visit marked the 2nd India–Australia Defence Ministers’ Dialogue, aimed at strengthening strategic defence cooperation between the two nations.
During the ceremony on Monday (01 June), Richard Marles was received with a ceremonial Guard of Honour, highlighting the diplomatic significance of the meeting. Both sides held discussions on enhancing defence collaboration, maritime security, and regional stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
The dialogue reflects the growing strategic partnership between India and Australia, which has expanded in recent years across defence, trade, and security domains.
