Arrested accused in RSS Ranchi office attack linked to ISI-backed: Sources

Arrested men in the attack on the RSS office in Ranchi are suspected to be linked to the ISI-backed group Tehreek-e-Taliban Hindustan (TTH), according to sources cited in the investigation.
Officials said preliminary inputs suggest the accused may have been part of a wider radical network allegedly operating with cross-border support and coordination. The group is believed to have connections with handlers based outside India, with Pakistan-based elements being probed for possible involvement.
Investigators are also looking into whether the accused were radicalised and guided through encrypted communication platforms to carry out the attack. The probe is focusing on identifying the full network, funding channels and operational links behind the incident.
Authorities have not officially confirmed the extent of the group’s structure, and investigations are currently underway to verify the claims and establish the complete chain of conspiracy.
