ABVP Protests outside NTA office over NEET UG cancellation In Delhi

Members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a protest outside the National Testing Agency (NTA) office in Delhi on Wednesday, demanding action over alleged irregularities linked to NEET-UG 2026.
The protest was triggered after the reported cancellation of NEET-UG 2026 amid allegations of a paper leak and examination-related irregularities. ABVP workers raised slogans against the NTA, calling for strict accountability and transparency in the conduct of national-level entrance examinations.
During the protest, some ABVP members attempted to breach police barricades and enter the NTA office premises. However, Delhi Police personnel along with Rapid Action Force (RAF) units deployed at the site prevented them from moving forward.
Authorities had already imposed heavy security arrangements outside the NTA office to avoid any escalation of the situation. Police officials confirmed that law and order was maintained and no major untoward incident was reported.
A senior police officer stated that strict measures were in place to ensure that no one was allowed to disturb peace or breach security arrangements outside the office premises.
The incident highlights growing student unrest over concerns related to competitive examinations and alleged irregularities in their conduct.
