3 killed in Bhubaneswar as vehicle rams into multiple cars and pedestrians

A tragic road accident in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, has left several people dead and others injured after a speeding vehicle reportedly collided with multiple vehicles before running over pedestrians near a busy roadside area.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred near the Sainik School locality, where the vehicle first struck several parked two-wheelers and an autorickshaw before losing control and hitting a group of people standing near a tea stall. The impact caused multiple casualties, with emergency responders rushing the injured to nearby hospitals.
Eyewitnesses said the car was moving at high speed when it rammed into the vehicles lined along the road, triggering panic in the area. Locals immediately rushed to rescue victims and alerted police.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the exact death toll, but several people are feared dead and at least a few others sustained serious injuries. The identities of the victims are yet to be officially released.
Police have seized the vehicle involved in the accident and launched an investigation to determine whether the driver lost control due to speeding, mechanical failure, or other factors. Efforts are also underway to trace the driver, who reportedly fled the scene after the crash.
