3 Killed after speeding Lorry crashes into parked mini truck in Telangana’s Jangaon

3 people were killed in a tragic road accident in Telangana's Jangaon district after a lorry crashed into a mini truck that had been parked on the roadside for repairs, police officials said.
According to the police, the incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday when the victims were repairing their mini truck following a tyre burst. While the vehicle was stationed on the roadside, a lorry negotiating a curve reportedly lost control and rammed into the parked truck and the individuals standing nearby.
The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in the deaths of all three victims at the spot. Emergency responders and police personnel rushed to the scene soon after receiving information about the accident.
Authorities shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation has been launched to determine the exact circumstances that led to the fatal crash. Police are also examining whether overspeeding, driver negligence, or other factors contributed to the accident.
The incident once again highlights concerns over road safety and the risks faced by motorists carrying out emergency repairs on highways and busy roads. Officials have urged drivers to exercise caution, especially on curved stretches and during low-visibility conditions.
