1 dead, 3 injured in Bawana gang-related shooting

A suspected gang-related shooting inside a house in Delhi’s Bawana area left one man dead and three others injured, including a child, after armed assailants opened fire late Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Ravi. His father is in critical condition, while a 10-year-old child sustained a bullet injury to the leg. Another injured person is undergoing treatment.

According to initial reports, three unidentified men arrived on a motorcycle and forced their way into the house. They opened fire indiscriminately, hitting multiple people inside before fleeing the spot. Police said the attack took place within minutes, giving the victims little time to respond. Four people suffered bullet injuries in the firing.

Teams from the Delhi Police reached the scene soon after receiving information and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals. Ravi later succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Officials said preliminary investigation points to a possible gang-related motive, though no angle has been officially confirmed so far.
