Bharat Tex 2025, India's premier global textile event, was held from February 14 to 17, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The event featured over 5,000 exhibitors, providing a comprehensive showcase of India's textile ecosystem. More than 120,000 trade visitors from over 120 countries, including global CEOs, policymakers, and industry leaders, attended the event.
The expo encompassed the entire textile value chain, from raw materials to finished products, including accessories. It featured special innovation and start-up pavilions, hackathons, and design challenges, providing funding opportunities for start-ups through leading investors.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the event, highlighting Bharat Tex as a strong platform for engagement, collaboration, and partnership among policymakers, CEOs, and industry leaders worldwide. He emphasised India's cultural diversity showcased through traditional garments and noted a 7% increase in textile and apparel exports, positioning India as the sixth-largest exporter globally. With stalls of everything like Vatsal Exports LLP, Jubilee Industries, JCI RC Velvet, Khadi stalls and so much more, the event was a textile hub.
