Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the youth have always been dedicated to the country and society. Be it the freedom struggle against the British or the time of opposition to other invaders, the youth have protected religion, culture, and life values ??by sacrificing their lives for the country and society when needed. The present time is the time to establish India as a developed country globally. We are fortunate to have the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He called upon the youth to contribute in every possible way in their respective fields with their best abilities and competence, hard work, and dedication towards making India a developed nation by 2047. Under Prime Minister Modi’s motto of ‘Gyan par Dhyan’, making the poor, youth, farmers, and women self-reliant and empowered is our top priority. To give a constructive direction to the youth's energy for the country's progress, ‘Swami Vivekananda Yuva Shakti Mission’ is being started in the state on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, National Youth Day. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the gathering at the launch of Yuva Shakti Mission at Ravindra Bhawan Bhopal on Sunday. Vice Chancellors of various universities and a large number of students and youth were present in the programme.
Yadav inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp and paying floral tribute to the portrait of Swami Vivekananda. Chief Minister Yadav unveiled the logo of Yuva Shakti Mission based on the mission’s motto of ‘Atma Deepo Bhava: - Samvad, Samarthya, Samriddhi’. He administered oath to the youth to become skilled and self-reliant and to guide the society. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inaugurated the theme song of the mission and the Yuva Portal developed to provide information about various departments to the youth. Along with this, the Umang Wellness Program jointly developed by the Department of Public Health and Medical Education and Higher Education for the physical, mental, and emotional health of the youth was launched. On this occasion, a short film on ‘Umang’ was also screened.
An MoU was exchanged between Global Skill Park and Trident Company in the presence of Chief Minister Yadav, for skill development of youth and providing training as per industrial requirements. Chief Minister Yadav gave letters of encouragement (Protsahan Patras) to girls from tribal-dominated districts of the state who received training in various trades in Government Women ITI Betul and other institutions under the V-STEM project run by UN Women.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India is the youngest country in the world and we are capable of solving all the questions based on our ability and competence. Madhya Pradesh alone has more than 1.5 crore youth. By communicating with them, the state government will provide all possible support for their future and progress according to their interest and abilities. The Yuva Shakti Mission aims to make the youth self-reliant by providing quality education to the youth, training in entrepreneurship for their capacity enhancement, and ensuring the use of the energy of the youth in the interest of the country and the state by coordinating with the schemes and programmes related to the interests of the youth run in all 54 departments.
In the current era, skill development and training in this field have special importance. While providing employment in government service or the private sector along with working for entrepreneurship development, the youth will be made job providers, not job seekers.
