Vedanta ESL successfully celebrated World Water Week 2025, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable water management. The week-long event featured insightful sessions, competitions, and CSR initiatives, engaging over 1,000 participants.
A key highlight was a webinar on glacier preservation by Rajesh Jain, Co-founder of Wapp and DigitalPaani, emphasizing the urgency of protecting India’s glaciers. Senior leadership, including Deputy CEO Ravish Sharma, CFO Anand Dubey, and Director Tapesh Chandra Naskar, shared insights on water optimization and waste reduction.
Community-focused competitions like elocution, poster-making, and quizzes saw enthusiastic participation, with winners recognized for their contributions to water conservation. Under Project Swajal, Vedanta ESL’s CSR team conducted awareness sessions at Budhibinor Anganwadi, benefiting 45 SHG members, while a drawing contest at Chandaha encouraged 50 students to creatively express water conservation themes.
Tapesh Chandra Naskar, Director CE & HSES, reaffirmed the company’s commitment, stating, “Water is vital for industries and communities. At Vedanta ESL, we go beyond advocacy to actively practice sustainability.”
