Tirkey seeks strict action against people who disturbed peace in Pithoria

Former minister, member of the coordination committee of Jharkhand government and working president of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee Bandhu Tirkey has said that the incident of spreading unrest and spoiling social harmony on an important festival like Sarhul in Hethbalu village of Pithoria police station area under Kanke block is unfortunate and strict action should be taken against such guilty elements. Tirkey said that no one is allowed to harm the mutual harmony and the spirit of unity in Jharkhand.

Tirkey today visited Hethbalu village under Pithoria police station of Kanke and met the aggrieved parties and the injured in the incident of fighting on the day of Sarhul and assured them of all possible help. On this occasion, Tirkey said that Jharkhand is a state of all castes, religions and communities, where the basic identity lies in mutual unity and goodwill.

He said that strict action should be taken against the guilty elements and all people should maintain mutual harmony and goodwill towards each other because our happiness and progress lies in this. While visiting the affected village, many villagers and party leaders and workers including the head of Upper Upar Konki Panchayat Lala Mahali, Akash Oraon, Samlal Munda, Alisha Devi, Anita Devi, Suman Devi, Malti Devi, Reshmi Devi, Sudhir Oraon were present with Shri Tirkey.
