Tata Power's transformative Adhikaar program has achieved a significant milestone by empowering more than 9,000 residents across Maithon and Dhanbad, enabling them to access vital government welfare schemes and benefits. This initiative is bridging the gap between marginalized communities and essential support systems, aiming to uplift socio-economic conditions and foster greater self-reliance.
Since its inception, the 'Adhikaar' program has mobilized resources, highlighting its substantial impact in improving lives. The program has submitted a total of 12,000 applications from the Dhanbad and Maithon regions, with 9,000 beneficiaries already receiving the benefits they are entitled to. The initiative has set an ambitious goal to facilitate 16,800 applications, with a focus on supporting women, children, students, senior citizens, and other underserved communities.
The program acts as a gateway to a wide range of central and state government schemes, including the Food Security Scheme, PM Kisan Yojana, PM Jan Aarogya Yojana, Guruji Student Credit Card, Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana, Mukhyamantri Abua Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, and more.
