As part of Swachhata Pakhwada, observed from March 16 to 31 at Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL), the Swachhata Rath was flagged off today, March 25, by Executive Director In-Charge C. R. Mahapatra from the Ispat Bhavan premises. The event was attended by senior officials, including Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) Suresh Rangani, Executive Director (Human Resources) Rajshree Banerjee, Executive Director (Mines) Vikas Manwati, Executive Director (Materials Management) C. R. Mishra, and Executive Director (Projects) Anish Sengupta, along with other senior officers and employees.
The Swachhata Rath aims to spread awareness about cleanliness among the residents of Bokaro Steel City. Through video presentations, it educates the public on avoiding single-use plastics and maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings. The initiative reinforces BSL’s commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
