Under the aegis of the industrial engineering department (IED), suggestion fairs are being organized across various departments of Bokaro Steel Plant. On April 3, a suggestion fair was held in the blast furnace department under the leadership of general manager (IED) Himanshu Gupta and senior manager (IED) Priti Priya. The event was inaugurated by chief general manager (blast furnace) Shouvik Roy.
During the event, senior officials of the blast furnace department, including general managers Manas Sarkar, Jayant Joddar, Anupam Roy, and Kanchan Kumar, along with assistant general manager Shashikant, shared their valuable experiences and encouraged employees to contribute towards improvement.
Approximately 200 suggestions were submitted by department employees during the fair. Chief general manager (blast furnace) Shouvik Roy urged employees to actively participate in such initiatives and provide creative ideas for the plant’s growth. The event was conducted and concluded with a vote of thanks by general manager (blast furnace) Dhananjay Kumar.
