The political temperature of the State is likely to heat up once again as former JMM MLA from Jama Sita Soren, who quit JMM ahead of Lok Sabha election last year joining BJP is once again going to make Ghar Wapsi. Sita Soren, the eldest daughter-in-law of JMM patriarch Shibu Soren and sister-in law of Chief Minister Hemant Soren before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, had joined the BJP. After this, she also contested the assembly elections on a BJP ticket but had to face defeat. In such a situation, there was a discussion in the political corridors that now maybe she will join JMM again.
JMM Foundation Day is to be organized in Dumka on 2 February. Grand preparations are being made at Gandhi Maidan in Dumka. Party's working president cum CM Hemant Soren is going to attend it. This time the foundation day is very special because last year at this time Hemant Soren could not attend due to being in jail. Meanwhile, media persons have had a direct conversation with Sita Soren on the discussion about Sita Soren's return to JMM. The mystery of the return has deepened further with her answer.
Sita Soren was asked, “Are you going to return to JMM?” In response, she said that “I am reaching Dumka on 1 February. I am, where I am now. Time tells everything. Let the one who wants to discuss, discuss. We leave everything at the right time. There is a constant coming and going. Circumstances make us do everything. Right now, I have to go to Dumka to attend programmes related to Saraswati Puja.'
Sita Soren was asked if she was coming to the JMM program organized at Gandhi Maidan on February 2. In response, Sita Soren said that “the house is mine, I can't deny it. Everything is mine. It was built by me.” She even said that “today everything is the same as it was yesterday.” She was asked if this discussion should be dismissed. In response, she said that “let it be a matter of discussion for now. Right now, I will work for the organization where I am. Leave everything at the right time.”
When JMM MLA from Dumka and Sita Soren's brother-in-law Basant Soren was questioned about the discussion of Sita Soren's return, he bluntly said, “this discussion has reached your ears, it has not reached my ears yet.” Regarding the foundation day program, he said that the workers are very enthusiastic and excited. Last year there was no working president. Due to this, we could not celebrate the foundation day properly last year. But this time everyone is excited.
Just before the Lok Sabha elections, Guruji's elder daughter-in-law Sita Soren joined BJP. The party also made her a candidate from Dumka. However, she lost the election to JMM's Nalin Soren. After this, in the assembly elections, BJP fielded her against Congress leader Irfan from Jamtara. But here too Sita was disappointed. Now there is talk of her returning to JMM again.
