Sita Soren, the eldest daughter-in-law of JMM patriarch Shibu Soren and sister-in law of Chief Minister Hemant Soren before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, had joined the BJP. After this, she also contested the assembly elections on a BJP ticket but had to face defeat. JMM Foundation Day is to be organized in Dumka on 2 February. Grand preparations are being made at Gandhi Maidan in Dumka. Party's working president cum CM Hemant Soren is going to attend it.
