A new Self Propelled Inspection Car was inaugurated by Divisional Railway Manager Jasmeet Singh Bindra at Hatia Railway Station here on Thursday.
Self Propelled Inspection Car (SPIC) is a special vehicle used for inspection of tracks, bridges, tunnels and other infrastructures. This vehicle can run independently on the track without the help of any other engine or locomotive. This vehicle is an important tool for the smooth and safe operation of the railway system. Its modern technology, high efficiency and autonomous operation capability helps railway officials in monitoring tracks and infrastructures. It not only improves operations but also enhances safety standards, making railway traffic more safe and efficient.
This high quality Automated Inspection Vehicle is equipped with all the modern facilities, it is fitted with high quality cameras, sensors and other equipments which help in assessing the condition of tracks and structures.
On the occasion of inauguration of this new Automated Inspection Vehicle, Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer Balram Prasad Sahu, Sr DCM cum CPRO Shuchi Singh, Sr DOM Shreya Singh, Sr DE (Coordination) Saket Kumar, Sr DPO Raja and other officers and staff were present at Hatia station.
