In preparation for the tenth Shaheed Samman Yatra cum Akhand Tiranga Yatra, organized by Naman Parivar on the martyrdom day of great revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru on March 23, 2025, an important meeting was held to ensure the grandeur and dignity of the event. The meeting, chaired by Naman's founder Amarpreet Singh Kale, saw the participation of prominent personalities from various fields of society.
Naman's patron and senior union leader Rakeshwar Pandey emphasized the significance of the yatra, describing it as a powerful medium to honor the sacrifices of freedom fighters and to strengthen the spirit of patriotism and unity among citizens. He urged the people of Jamshedpur to participate in large numbers to make the event historic.
Addressing the gathering, Amarpreet Singh Kale recalled that the Tiranga Yatra was initiated to uphold the integrity and unity of India. He highlighted that the yatra began in 2016 when anti-national slogans were raised in JNU, and Naman Parivar responded by organizing the Tiranga Yatra with the slogans "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Vande Mataram", promoting nationalism and respect for the national flag. Kale emphasized that the yatra serves as a strong message against any ideology challenging India's sovereignty, appealing to all sections of society to join the event and uphold its dignity.
Senior journalist and Naman patron Brij Bhushan Singh lauded the yatra's journey over the past decade, noting that it has become a symbol of pride for the city. He praised Naman Parivar's efforts in awakening patriotic fervor among the youth and paying homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India's freedom. Singh also reiterated the yatra's stance against anti-national slogans and saluted the organization's commitment to protecting the country's unity and integrity.
The meeting saw enthusiastic participation from several dignitaries, including Varun Kumar, Parwinder Singh, Gurmeet Singh Kake, Kusum Purti, Balwinder Singh, and representatives from various social and cultural organizations. The session was conducted by Jugun Pandey, with Mahesh Mishra delivering the vote of thanks.
Naman Convener Varun Kumar, along with other members including A. Vishwanath, Jaswant Singh Bhoma, Mahendra Singh, Joginder Singh Jogi, and many others, pledged to make the tenth Akhand Tiranga Yatra a historic and memorable event. They reiterated their commitment to standing strong for the unity and integrity of the nation.
