The Ranchi Meteorological Centre of the India Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be no significant change in the minimum temperature across Jharkhand for the next few days. The forecast suggests that mornings in the state will experience shallow to moderate fog in isolated areas, followed by partly cloudy skies during the day over the next 48 hours.
The minimum temperature is expected to remain stable for the next four days, with a slight dip anticipated afterward, particularly in the northwestern parts of the state. Meteorologists attribute the recent rise in minimum temperatures to the influence of a Western Disturbance passing through northern India.
On January 14, Ranchi recorded a minimum temperature of 12.4 degrees Celsius, while Jamshedpur recorded 13.5 degrees Celsius. Daltonganj registered a minimum temperature of 12.7 degrees Celsius, and Bokaro recorded 12.1 degrees Celsius. Chatra experienced the state’s lowest temperature, at 10.6 degrees Celsius.
The Western Disturbance has been influencing the weather pattern in Jharkhand, causing a slight increase in night temperatures. However, experts predict that the disturbance’s impact will reduce in the coming days, allowing cooler conditions to return to the state.
The stable weather conditions are expected to provide relief to residents from extreme cold, although the foggy mornings may cause visibility issues in certain regions. Travelers and commuters are advised to exercise caution during early morning hours, especially in areas prone to fog.
The Ranchi Meteorological Centre continues to monitor the weather conditions closely and will provide updates as the situation evolves.
