The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), India’s apex rural development financial institution, has extended record developmental assistance of Rs 5,830 crores to Jharkhand during the financial year 2024-25.

This unprecedented support has significantly catalysed rural infrastructure development, livelihood promotion, institutional strengthening, and financial inclusion in the State.

Jharkhand's Rural Financial Institutions (RFIs) collectively availed Rs 105 crore as concessional refinance from NABARD in 2018-19. The State has witnessed 20 times increase in long-term refinance, with total disbursements touching Rs 2701 crore for the 2024-25.
