The budget session of Jharkhand Assembly on Friday witnessed heated debate between two ministers of state government. During the first session on Friday, a peculiar situation arose for a while in the Assembly when two ministers of the state government, Sudivya Kumar and Irfan Ansari engaged in heated debate.
While Irfan Ansari accused Sudivya of interrupting, Sudivya also replied that the House is not anyone's personal property. He also advised the minister to answer in a dignified manner in the House.
There was also a dispute between Irfan and Congress Legislature Party leader Pradeep Yadav in the House. In fact, Pradeep Yadav, while informing that there is not a single nursing college in Godda, had asked the government how much of the nursing college being built there is complete and in how many days will the studies start there.
In response, Health Minister Irfan Ansari quipped that Pradeep Yadav has been an MLA from there five times, but the nursing college has not been established there.
Retaliating to this, Pradeep Yadav said that he should answer his questions directly. There is no need to give a speech.
On this, Sudivya Kumar, who is handling the responsibility of the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, intervened and told the Speaker that neither objective questions are coming in the House nor objective answers.
He said that the minister should give objective answers. Sarcasm is not appropriate in the House. The minister should answer with dignity. Health Minister Irfan Ansari did not like his interference. He said about Sudivya Kumar that he often jumps in the middle. This matter is between him and Pradeep Yadav, but he jumped in the middle. He is very knowledgeable.
In response, Sudivya Kumar also said that the House is not anyone's personal property. Meanwhile, the Speaker, while resolving the matter, asked the minister to give a precise answer as to when the nursing college will start in Godda.
Here, Pradeep Yadav praised the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, saying that he is thankful to him for the statement he gave for running the House smoothly. He discharged the responsibility of the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs correctly.
In another development, in a query raised by Congress MLA Mamta Devi over the recruitment of constables, the government assured the House on Friday that a decision would be taken soon on the recruitment examination of the constable. The Minister in charge told the House that the recruitment examination was postponed due to certain discrepancies. Now those complications are being removed. The government will make a decision soon. Mamta Devi had asked through her attention that applications were invited for 4919 posts from 22 January 2024 to 23 February 2024. Thousands of youths had applied for the post of constable.
But it was postponed in between. Many reasons were given for this. It was said that a joint recruitment manual would be made. Now the joint recruitment manual has also been made. The government should take a decision soon in the interest of the youth.
