The SAIL Mega Sports Event was inaugurated today jointly by the Executive Directors of SAIL, Ranchi units Anup Kumar (ED-SSO), S.K. Verma (ED-CET), and S.K. Kar (ED-RDCIS). The event is being held at the Recreation Centre of Satellite Township and is designed to foster sportsmanship and camaraderie among employees, their spouses, and children.
The event features a variety of indoor games such as badminton, chess, carrom, and table tennis. For children, engaging activities like fancy dress competition and a sit-and-draw contest will be organized. Female participants will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity through Alpana and Rangoli competitions.
The event will run until January 26, 2025, culminating in outdoor games and a grand prize distribution ceremony on Republic Day.
