The State capital is gearing up for the prestigious Global Investors Summit with an extraordinary addition—Bhopal's first-ever tent city at Kaliasot Ground. With 108 luxurious tents set against a scenic backdrop, the initiative promises to blend business with nature, offering a unique hospitality experience to guests from India and abroad.
This is the first time a camp accommodation of this magnitude has been set up in Bhopal. Chakravarti Singh, the project’s lead, highlighted the comfort and grandeur of the accommodations.
He says that each of these Swiss tents is furnished with double beds, air conditioning, and elegant decorative lighting, ensuring a lavish stay. Additionally, all tents come with attached washrooms, reinforcing the project's commitment to luxury and convenience.
Singh assured that the tent city will rival the experience of four- and five-star hotels, providing guests with world-class amenities in a serene setting. The construction team is working tirelessly to meet the deadline, ensuring a flawless setup for the high-profile summit.
The ambitious project is being executed by around 200 skilled professionals, most of whom hail from Mumbai and have extensive experience in building elaborate film sets.
The same team previously constructed a tent city in Kutch, Gujarat, demonstrating their expertise in high-quality temporary structures. While a Rajasthan-based company holds the contract, the hands-on work is being carried out by Mumbai’s finest craftsmen.
The tent city will be surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden, adding to its visual appeal. A welcoming reception area will greet visitors, leading to an aesthetically designed dining space and lush greenery. These elements aim to create an inviting and peaceful ambience for guests attending the summit.
Ensuring guests’ safety and comfort is a top priority. The tent city will be equipped with Wi-Fi, telephone services, fire safety systems, and medical facilities. Additionally, robust security measures will be in place to ensure a hassle-free stay. A dedicated hospitality team will be on standby 24/7, attending to every need of the guests.
The Global Investors Summit is expected to attract around 15,000 participants from across the world. The local administration and electricity department are actively supporting the project to ensure seamless execution. With Bhopal hosting both its first-ever tent city and this large-scale summit, the event is poised to be a landmark occasion in the city's history.
