Kisan Samridhi Yojana has been started with the objective of providing better irrigation facilities in Jharkhand. The aim of this scheme operated by the Agriculture Division is to supply water to every farm. Under the Kisan Samridhi Yojana, solar powered pumps are being made available to farmers. Two types of solar powered pumps are being made available to farmers under the scheme. Whose market rate is 1 lakh 80 thousand 752 and 1 lakh 81 thousand 752 respectively. The beneficiary can get the benefit of this scheme by contributing 90 percent i.e. 18 thousand 175 rupees. So far more than 15 thousand farmers have applied to avail the benefits of this scheme.
State Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey visited Bansjadi village of Mandar and inspected the site of Kisan Samridhi Yojana and discussed with the beneficiary farmers.
Tirkey took information related to the scheme and the process of taking benefit of the scheme from the beneficiaries of the village. On this occasion, Tirkey said that the villagers need to be aware to take advantage of the scheme run by the department. Irrigation of the crop in the field will be easily possible with the pump operated by solar energy. Beneficiaries can save the expenses being made till now for irrigation by taking advantage of this scheme. Now farmers will get relief from the expenditure on electricity or diesel for irrigation of crops.
This is the first time in Jharkhand when happiness can be felt on the faces of farmers due to the implementation of Kisan Samridhi Yojana. The Minister went to the Mandar block office and held a meeting with the officials. Instructions were given to the officials to speed up the schemes run by the government and increase the number of beneficiaries.
