Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, while addressing the youth at the Silver Jubilee State Convention of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jharkhand held in Dhanbad today, appreciated their contribution in the development of the country and Jharkhand and gave an inspirational message.
The Governor said on this occasion that the organization of this convention is inspirational from many historical contexts. During the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Dharti Aba Birsa Munda, 150th birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the centenary year of ABVP's architect Professor Yashwant Rao Kelkar, this convention gives a message of new energy and resolve to the youth of Jharkhand.
The Governor, while referring to the silver jubilee of the establishment of Jharkhand, recalled the contribution of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the formation of Jharkhand state. He said that when the bill regarding the formation of the state was brought in the Parliament, he was a member of the Council of Ministers in the government of Atal ji and as a Lok Sabha MP, he had voted in favour of the formation of the state.
Referring to the association of more than 82 thousand youth of Jharkhand with ABVP, the Governor said that this number is not just a figure, but a symbol of the energy and dedication of the youth of the state. He called upon the youth to contribute to the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 and to make Jharkhand a leader in the field of education, employment, sports, innovation and cultural development.
The Governor explained to the youth the importance of continuous effort and dedication, citing Swami Vivekananda's idea of 'Arise, awake and do not stop till the goal is achieved'.
The Governor praised the glorious journey of 75 years of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and said that this organization not only gives the message of patriotism, but also provides a direction to the youth for their positive energy.
The Governor called upon all the youth to play their role in realizing the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' and 'Developed India @ 2047'.
