Gangwar calls youths to imbibe the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda

Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, addressing the 'Arts and Cultural Festival' organized by the NGO Vikas Bharti Bishunpur at Bariatu, Ranchi on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary today, said that the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the source of inspiration for the youth, is celebrated as 'National Youth Day' across the country. Referring to the life and thoughts of Swami Vivekananda, he said that his life is a symbol of pride and honour of Mother India. His personality and his thoughts still inspire our society and are a guide for all of us.

The Governor mentioned the historic speech given by Swami Vivekananda at the World Religious Conference held in Chicago in 1893, which made the whole world aware of India's great culture and the message of humanity.

The Governor quoted Swami Vivekananda's quote 'Arise, awake and do not stop till the goal is achieved' and said that this message encourages the youth power.

While praising the social work of Vikas Bharti Bishunpur, the Governor said that this institution is constantly striving in various fields of society under the leadership of Padmashree Ashok Bhagat ji and has established a unique identity in the society with its work. He inspired the members of Vikas Bharti to work more actively in the direction of public welfare by following the path of selfless service.

The Governor said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, initiatives like 'Startup India,' 'Skill India' and 'Make in India' have made a remarkable effort towards making the youth self-reliant. He said that the dream of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' will be fulfilled only when our youth will contribute to the development of the country with their full energy and creativity.

The Governor called upon everyone to imbibe the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda ji and contribute to a developed India.

On the said occasion, the Governor also visited various products and exhibitions organized by the institution.

Meanwhile in another event Governor addressed the 'Grand Youth Festival' organized by Rashtriya Yuva Vikas Sangh, Jharkhand Pradesh at Chari Hujir School Ground, Kanke, Ranchi.

Governor described Swami Vivekananda's thoughts as an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the youth and said that his life is a symbol of self-confidence, discipline and hard work.

Governor, citing Swami Vivekananda's quote "Arise, awake and do not stop till the goal is achieved", inspired the youth to recognize their abilities and be dedicated to their duties. Appreciating the youth of Jharkhand, he said that they are known for their courage, hard work and talent and are increasing the prestige of the state and the country in various fields.

The Governor stressed the need to follow the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and work for the upliftment of the weaker and deprived sections of society. The Governor congratulated the organizers for the successful organization of this 'Bhavya Yuva Mahotsav' and hoped that this festival will infuse new inspiration and energy in the lives of the youth of the state. He called upon the youth to imbibe the ideals of Swami Vivekananda in their lives and play an active role in nation building.
