Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) bid farewell to its retiring employees in a ceremony held at the Main Auditorium of the Gyanarjan and Vikas Department on January 31st, 2025. The event honored the service of 13 executives and 77 non-executives who retired from the company this month.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Executive Director (Human Resources), Rajshree Banerjee, and BGH in-charge, Dr. B.B. Karunamay, as the chief guests. The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Nanda Priyadarshini, Assistant General Manager (Human Resources), who provided information about the final settlement process and related matters. Dr. Priyadarshini also presented a brief overview of each retiree's career at BSL.
Banerjee and Dr. Karunamay lauded the retirees for their dedicated service and wished them a happy and fulfilling life after retirement. They presented the retirees with certificates of service and gifts as a token of appreciation.
The ceremony concluded with a meet-and-greet session where the retiring employees and their families interacted with the dignitaries. Banerjee, Dr. Karunamay, and Director-in-Charge, Birendra Kumar Tiwari, personally met the retirees and extended their best wishes for their future endeavors.
The event was hosted by Dr. Nanda Priyadarshini, who also delivered the vote of thanks.
