A state-level cooperative dairy producers' conference is set to be organized in Neemuch in the coming days, with Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah attending as the chief guest. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will also be present as a special guest at the event.
To ensure the smooth execution of this significant gathering, Ujjain Division Commissioner Sanjay Gupta visited Neemuch on Wednesday to review the ongoing preparations. During his visit, he held discussions with officials and issued necessary directives to ensure a well-organized event.
One of the key highlights of the conference will be the Acharya Vidyasagar Jeevdaya Samman Yojana, under which three state-selected cowsheds will be awarded in the institutional category. Additionally, three more institutions will receive consolation prizes. In the individual category, three awards will be presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to cattle welfare. Further, three awards will be given to dairy farmers based on the milk production competition for indigenous cow breeds, while another set of three awards will be presented for exceptional milk production from Indian breed cows.
A dairy producer exhibition will also be held as part of the event. This exhibition will feature various dairy products from Sanchi, a live-stock exhibition showcasing high-quality cows, buffaloes, goats, and other improved livestock breeds under the Poultry Development Corporation. Additionally, the Veterinary University will present an exhibition highlighting innovations in animal medical science.
Commissioner Gupta, accompanied by Neemuch Collector Himanshu Chandra and Superintendent of Police Ankit Jaiswal, inspected the conference venue at Dussehra Maidan.
