Tributes were paid to CRPF Sub Inspector Sunil Mandal, who died in the IED blast in Chaibasa on Saturday. Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren paid tributes to slain CRPF sub inspector at the CRPF camp in Ranchi.
Tribute was paid to CRPF 193 Battalion's martyr Sub Inspector Sunil Mandal, who died in the IED blast planted underground by Naxalites during a search operation against Naxalites in Chaibasai. Jharkhand Governor and Chief Minister later also met the bereaved family of the martyr and consoled them.
During this, the Chief Minister said that the government will always be with the families of the martyrs. Jharkhand Chief Secretary, DGP Anurag Gupta along with IG Campaign, IG CRPF, IG Ranchi, DIG cum Ranchi SSP Chandan Kumar also paid tribute to the martyred sub-inspector.
After paying tribute to the martyred sub-inspector, CM Hemant Soren said that the Naxalites are frustrated with the ongoing operation of Jharkhand Police. The attack on the police is the result of this frustration. Paying tribute to the martyred sub-inspector, the CM said that the campaign against Naxalites will continue.
Sub-inspector Sunil Mandal was martyred on Saturday while fighting the Naxalites in Jharkhand. Sub-inspector GD Sunil Kumar Mandal of CRPF 193 battalion was out on a campaign against Naxalites with his team. Meanwhile, the IED planted by the Naxalites in the forest area of Chhotanagra police station area of Chaibasa exploded, due to which Sub Inspector Sunil Kumar Mandal and CRPF jawan GD Parth were injured. After getting information about the blast, a helicopter was sent from Ranchi in a hurry and both the injured were airlifted to Ranchi, but the doctors declared Sub-Inspector Sunil Kumar Mandal dead in the hospital.
Sub-inspector Sunil Kumar Mandal, who was martyred in the blast carried out by the Naxalites, was a resident of Midnapore district of West Bengal.
Havaldar killed in landslide in Leh
Simdega's brave son Havildar Kishor Bada who died after being caught in a landslide in Ladakh, today, the body of Havildar Kishor Bada was brought by the army to his native village Nanesera Turturi Pani. As soon as his body arrived, the atmosphere of the entire area became gloomy. Hundreds of people reached his village with moist eyes to see him.
In fact, Kishore Bada, a resident of Nanesera village of Simdega, was posted in Ladakh as a Havildar in the 699 Tatra Battalion of the Army. On March 20, while going by vehicle in Ladakh, Kishore Bada and one of his companions got caught in a land slide. Due to which Kishore and his other companion died. On Sunday, the contingent of Ranchi Military Station wrapped the martyr Kishore Bada in the tricolor and brought him to his native village Nanesera.
As soon as Kishore's body reached the village, there was a cry everywhere. Hundreds of people gathered to get a glimpse of the village's son. After the religious mass ceremony in the native village, the soldiers of Ranchi Military Station gave the last salute to the martyred soldier. Martyr Kishore Bada grew up without a mother. Kishore Bada was the only brother among three elder and one younger sister. Kishore was married to Samhita Minj in the year 2000. Martyr soldier Kishore has left behind his wife Samhita Minj and three daughters Anisha Bada, Angel Bada and Angelina Bada. Before the funeral, all three daughters gave their last salute to their father.
