Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) is observing Swachhata Pakhwada from March 16 to 31. As part of this initiative, on March 21, students of the School of Nursing at Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) staged a street play at City Centre, Sector 4. The play aimed to raise awareness about cleanliness and the harmful effects of single-use plastic on the environment.
Through an engaging and informative performance, the students emphasized that avoiding single-use plastic in daily life can contribute to a greener future for coming generations. The play also highlighted the environmental and health hazards associated with plastic waste.
Organized under the leadership of BSL, the event saw the presence of senior officials, including chief general manager (CED) Shaligram Singh, chief medical officer Dr. Aninda Mandal, ACMO Dr. Gajendra Kumar Singh of BGH, general manager (town administration) A. K. Avinash, and general manager (HR) Sushant Shishir. The initiative by BSL was highly appreciated by the public.
