n In a tragic incident, a two-year-old boy died from severe burns in the state capital late on Tuesday.
The boy, Akshansh, had suffered the injuries after falling into a wok of boiling oil a day earlier.The boy breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital, where he had been rushed by family members who had gathered at an event venue in the city to celebrate an engagement within the family.
Akshansh was a resident of the Shiv Nagar area of the city, where he lived with his parents and elder brother. His father, Rajesh Sahu, owns an electronics showroom.
The boy fell into the kadhai of boiling oil on Monday while playing around the venue as his father sat down for a meal with the hosts.As per witnesses, the tragedy struck after guests and catering staff had left the venue at the conclusion of the ceremony.
