The ‘Sheeshmahal’ remains central to the Delhi BJP’s campaign, with the party now preparing to showcase 14 replicas of the lavish bungalow belonging to AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, located at 6, Flag Staff Road, Civil Lines.
These replicas will be displayed across all districts of the national capital in an effort to incite public discontent against the ruling party ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
The miniature of the bungalow was first displayed by the BJP in Connaught Place more than six months ago soon after the first reports came in. The party, vying to end the drought of not being in power for 27 years, also featured it prominently in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally recently.
According to BJP sources, the party will display the replica on a van and take it around the district to showcase the ‘sheeshmahal’ to the general public.
“We will use vans to display the miniature of the lavish bungalow Kejriwal built for himself, despite claiming to be ‘aam aadmi’. We will put it on display at markets and heavily crowded places so more and more people can see the reality of AAP and Kejriwal,” a party source added.A model titled ‘Sheesh Mahal – Kejriwal’s Museum of Corruption’ also is kept prominently at the state party headquarters at Pandit Pant Marg office. Catching the eyes of people, the replica gives passerby a chance to take a look at the ‘sheeshmahal’, creating a dent at the image of former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has already been engulfed in allegations of corruption. BJP National President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda on Thursday also took a look at the replica placed at the state party office.

The architecture of the replica remains unknown. However, party sources said that he is a Haryana based man, aged around 30, and runs a firm of his. In the replica, one can see balconies, windows, doors, a terrace, a swimming pool, a badminton court, trees, and five luxury cars.
It also features two figurines including a male and a female nearby the pool, hinting towrads AAP supremo and his wife Suneeta Kejriwal enjoying the luxury.
