BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today took a dig at the state government regarding the paper leak case in the Matric examination. Marandi said that the Hemant government, notorious as paper leak mafia, has shamed Jharkhand again. Perhaps this is the first time that the Matric examination paper has been leaked in Jharkhand.
He said that since this morning the science subject paper was going viral on social media. After the examination started, when the question paper was matched, it was found to be exactly the same.
He said that there is every possibility that the gang close to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who leaked the JSSC CGL exam paper, has carried out the Matric examination paper leak scandal.
Marandi said that the JAC Chairman has also accepted the receipt of the question paper, while the education department officials are busy covering it up. The Education Minister and JAC Chairman should take moral responsibility and resign immediately. The state government should recommend a CBI inquiry into this paper leak case and ensure strict punitive action against the culprits.
Meanwhile, Jharkhand BJP state spokesperson Ajay Sah alleged that the Jharkhand government is preparing to shut down the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which is benefiting the needy across the country.
Addressing a press conference Sah referred to the order issued by the Health Department, which provides for new rules for listing private hospitals under the Ayushman Bharat Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana. According to this order, now only those hospitals will be included under this scheme which has a facility of at least 50 beds in urban areas and a minimum of 30 beds in rural areas. He feared that after the implementation of this order, there will be hardly 15 hospitals left in the whole of Jharkhand, which will be able to provide the benefits of this scheme.
The BJP spokesperson alleged that the Jharkhand government is completely caught in "financial mismanagement", due to which various welfare schemes are being cut. He claimed that the health department has deliberately made such rules that most of the hospitals in the state are excluded from this scheme, giving the government an opportunity to cut the funds of the scheme.
He demanded that the government make public the names of those hospitals and the information about the action taken against them. He expressed apprehension that this decision has been taken with the aim of benefiting big corporate hospitals.
The BJP spokesperson termed this decision as anti-people and said that it is against the interests of lakhs of needy patients of Jharkhand and the government should reconsider it. Media co-incharge Ashok Badaik was present in the press conference.
