SM Ramanathan, Executive Director (OSD, ER&D) & Addl. Charge, HEP, Bhopal on Tuesday inaugurated the renovated shelter home for truck drivers and staff near Gate no. 09. The free-of-cost facility is available for overnight stay for truck drivers and related staff. Further, the newly renovated EKTA park near Gate no. 05 was also inaugurated by Ramanathan. On this occasion PK Upadhyay, General Manager (Operations), all general managers, Santosh Kumar Gupta AGM (HR), TU Singh AGM (TAD) and employees of TAD, TCL were present.
Along with the lighting fountain, a selfie point (I Love BHEL) and a royal sofa made from scrap material have been installed in this park which has become a center of attraction. Photography can be done by sitting on the royal sofa. With the renovation of this park, it has become a center of attraction for the common people. Today it is necessary that wherever there is space in the city, more and more parks should be made so that our environment remains clean and pollution free. This park will play an important role in keeping the people of the city healthy and will also enhance the beauty of the city.
